    Tagged Walleye's

Is there a special # you are supposed to call for those tagged walleyes you catch. Just wondering we caught a 26 1/2 with a tag in her back and thought about ripping it out but didn't we just let her go.

there is a number on the tag, i am sure u could write it down and contact the dnr about the fish. i f u do that then get a measurment of the fish the lengh and girth and report it to them and then can tell u the progress an add it to there reports. and i think u can just call any dnr and they can direct u to the write people

Not true... Write down the # and report it to the MN DNR. In two trips this year my group already has two tags. Two ~ 24" fish.

Heres a double tagged pike from mille lacs last winter, it was tagged in Malmo in 02 as 31 inch fish, caught in a net by garrison the following year. And I caught it down by rocky reef!
