Bow opener
Way too slow on here for Bow operner tomorrow. Who's all going out. I'm starting out Saturday in WI and Sunday evening in MN. Work day cannot go fast enough.
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Da-uh? Space out?
Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

I will be out in Hugo tomorrow for the bow opener!! 2nd year bow hunter here. Last year, I wasn't able to harvest one at all. Seen lots though.
I finally got my bow set up right. Its not the best bow but it works! My Home | My Photo Album

I had to make a conscious decision not to bow hunt on the weekends. With ducks, grouse, pheasant and the new dog, there is just too much going on, with a limited amount of time. Not to mention, with 2 kids in hockey, I feel like Big Lake Bass
I was wondering why the frisbee kept getting bigger. Then all of a sudden it hit me

I got out this weekend with no luck. Did not see a deer . Last night was out and finally saw a couple bucks. Hope to get out one more time before duck opener this Saturday.

I got out Saturday evening and again Sunday morning for a few hours in some Wildlife Management Areas around Annandale. Sunday AM I had a young 6 point buck come leisurely past my stand at about 10 yards. I drew back as he approached but I let him pass in hopes of getting a chance at one a little bigger. When my buck tag goes unfilled at the end of the season I'll be kicking myself for not taking him. I had a "no doubt about it" kill shot opportunity on him. It's always more fun hunting when you are seeing some animals.

I got out on Saturday morning. Didn't see anything. Saturday night, I let my brother hunt my stand while I took his stand. He shot two does from my stand with the extensive hardvest tags available for the metro area hunt. I'm kicking myself for letting him take my stand while I took his by the apple tree.
Question.. Why do we wear Camo, if deer cant see color? My Home | My Photo Album

To break up your silhouette.
All normal people love meat. If I went to a barbeque and there was no meat, I would say 'Yo Goober! Where's the meat!?'. I'm trying to impress people here Lisa. You don't win friends with salad.
