Green Lake Tournament September 8th

The last event for the Metro Fishing League this year will be held at Green Lake in Chisago County on Sept 8th from 6 AM to 2 PM. Entries for this event will be accepted provided the entry form and payment are received in advance. The entry fee is $50/team and 100% of the entry fee is paid out to the top 3 finishers. We will plan to meet at the public access on the SE side of Green Lake on County Road 23. This ramp is approximately 1 mile south of Chisago City.

Note that there is also a DNR special regulation in effect for this lake: walleyes must be 17" minimum length in order to be kept in possession (i.e. brought to the weigh-in). A photo of an undersized walleye will still count as a species point however for anyone that catches one.

Did you send your money via paypal? if not get a hold of Steve about paying at access, I think Dan is out of town and won't be fishing with Steve so it might be hard for Dan to get him the money.

Note that the start time for Saturday's tournament has been moved back 1/2 hour to 6:30 AM. We will still be weighing in at 2:00 PM as originally scheduled. Reminder that there is a 17" slot limit on walleyes for Green Lake.

Directions to the landing on SE corner of the lake:
Take 35 north, as you enter Forest Lake get in the right lane. Exit 35 onto Hwy.8 (Taylors Falls). Stay on Hwy 8 to the second signal light, which is Hwy 23. Turn right on 23 and proceed 3-4miles...the landing will be on your left.

I was just told by a few guys that fish that lake that the lake is very low so be careful out there!
