Mille Lacs report

This last weekend we again had great luck pulling crank baits on lead core. Off the egde of the mud and gravel and in the open basin areas. But, if you want to get keeper fish might want to try a different lake

Friday the wife and I hit the lake and started on the deep gravel with #5 and #7 flicker shads pulled on lead core, then we moved to the mud flats and eventually to the basin areas. All were pretty productive. We got a total of 25 fish with just one going in the box. My Buddy and his gal got 28 with 4 keepers. That was a heck of a lot of fun!! Saturday was slower but still some very fun fishing and dandy eyes came to the boat.

Good bite right now for the mid 20" eyes on Mille Lacs, get up there if you want to have some fun, but you might want to bring a backup for shore lunch
