New to site, Lovin the big bass here
Just wanted to say hi and let you know how great your site is. You guys are great fisherman and have great fish to show for it. I have read additional information written by some of you on other sites and have enjoyed it.
The opener is here at MN and i have yet to read reports...After reading other posts it seems that many of you forget to comment about your catches unless you are reminded or somehow remember. There is much to learn from the veterans on this site so hopefully the chatter continues!
About me, i come up to MN for a combined 1-2 weeks of fishing a year but dream of it everyday. I fish the fergus falls area in otter tail county. Heading out there next week and will give a report to contribute. Great site guys, hopefully the reports keep coming.
Love the competitions here and the stringent rules of putting the big fish to the boards. Amen to that. With all of these supposed "state records" of bass being caught around MN, it doesn't hurt to slap a scale and board on them to keep us honest. Never heard of so many state record bass missed, seen, or caught out of season as i do in MN.
Grabbed a few pics to say hi with. Nothing incredible just fun. One is a good double of 12 pounds of fish, another is a 7 fish limit a hair shy of 35 pounds, and the last is a regular trio of a little over 15 pounds.

Welcome Shimmy! It has been quiet around here lately, kinda strange. I haven't really been out since walleye opener myself, work has been keeping me really busy for a change...that and I'm more of a hard water guy. Nice pics, thanks for sharing!

Welcome to AI Shimmy. Great pics.
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Da-uh? Space out?
Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

Bowfishermen, check out this link about a carp tournament on Prior, Spring, and Fish Lakes in Scott County on Sunday June 2nd. I like the part about them disposing of the fish for us. That's the...
