We had a great weekend on the pond. Not very many keeper size fish for us but we got some really nice fish. For the weekend we hit a new record of 6 walleye over the 27" mark
Once again this year we had a lot of really nice small mouth mixed right in with the walleyes we targeted. You would get 2 eyes then a couple smallies then hit more eyes in the same area using the same bait.
Most of our fish were caught pulling crank baits on the rocks in 5-10' of water. We did do a little rigging with leech in some deeper water and got a few that way, also got a couple with a leech and bobber, but by far our best bite was small crank baits over the shallow rocks all times of the day.

Some nice fish! I was up there but didn't do quite as well as you did.. Quite a few big ones and went home with 3 keepers.

Nice work Nova. Good pics.
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Da-uh? Space out?
Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

Nice job Tim. We were out on 3 mile and had a pretty good day. Biggest was 26" but a lot of fish over the 20" mark.

Nice day of fishing! Took a personal day from work this past Monday and got in on the day bite! We put about 25 fish in the boat, once we figured out the bite in our location. We managed anywhere from 13" - 27.5" on the day. Some of the 22" fish looked like footballs with their girth.
Now I am out of personal days and have to finish the school year before I can get back up to the pond.
