2012 Metro Fishing League

The overall results after the first 2 events are shown below. Call Me Cullen has a commanding lead with two first place finishes and a perfect score of 40 points.



I also updated the first post on this thread with updated rules and payout information as well as the name of the "mystery lake" which we selected on Saturday. The September 8th event will be fished on Green Lake in Chisago County.

Our next MFL event will be in 3 weeks on Minnetonka (August 4th). Individual entries are being accepted as long as you register and pay the fee in advance. $50/team. We presently have 5 teams registered for this event.

These are the final results of the 2012 MFL league. Team Fish Cast (Dan and Steve Wood) won first overall in a tiebreaker based on total weight with Call Me Cullen (Scott Regnier and Shannon Jacobsen). Third place was also a close 1 point race between Bent Rods (Rob and Terry) and Yar They Go (Brent and Tim).



We hope to see everyone back next year plus some new faces and a few returning veterans. I'd like to offer a special thanks to our generous sponsors, especially Pure Fishing who donated 4 high end bait casting rods and reels for the overall prizes.
