Pheasant
I still cant get myself to put away the hunting gear and hit the ice. If the hunting season is open I got to be out there. the ice time will come.
Nelli and I hit the pheasant ground all 3 of the days over the weekend. We ended up getting up 5 roosters and manage to bag one of them. Not a ton of tracks around and no snow and cold to concentrate them. Glad i got out and put one down. One more week to get a few more.

What an odd year. There are still some pheasants to chase. I am still seeing duck and geese fly over the house. WTF? A little open water and no snow covering the fields they are feeding in.

No kidding it's a goofy year. I wish my wife would not have made plans for me on new years. I would love to head back up to Fergus one more time for a late season bow hunt to close down the 2011 season.

Bowfishermen, check out this link about a carp tournament on Prior, Spring, and Fish Lakes in Scott County on Sunday June 2nd. I like the part about them disposing of the fish for us. That's the...
