Good Gill Bite 12-16
Finally left the walleyes alone for awhile and got after some bluegills. Got to the lake around 930 and drilled a series of holes and never left the 1st hole and I fished until 530. Had action the entire time it only slowed down when pike came through. 24 fow just off some shoreline structure. Caught most of the fish on Jr's new glitter colored jalepenos with waxies and also tried different plastic on the pannie pills which caught plenty of fish too. Got a few bonus crappies too that were all nice sized. Camera battery was dead so only a few pics. Ice was in good shape at 9.5"

Very nice fish Nate. I was supposed to head up there this weekend with Nick but got called back to work, 10 hr days and Saturday. Gotta take that with how slow work has been. Hopefully I'll get up there soon and say hi, do some fishing...

Nice gills Nate. I need to get on the ice and out of the woods.
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Da-uh? Space out?
Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

Great fish Nate! Looks like fun. I'm still waiting on some better ice down here.

Still been enjoying my vacation and getting out every day. Usually hitting a couple lakes each day. Have been big time struggling on a couple and keep going back to never find them in numbers. One of these times... What's working though is fishing roaming schools in the basins in 22-26 fow. Mostly gills but some nice crappies mixed in too. Pictured are three nice gills all from different lakes.
