    Who is going this weekend?

The early goose season starts Saturday. Who is going out to smash some sky carp?

I'll be heading to the Fergus area and hoping to fill the pickup with them. Dad, brother, and both my sons will be out with me bright and early saturday.

Good luck to all heading out!!

I will be heading out. Don't have a stamp, shells, or anything ready at this point yet. Tomorrow afternoon seems like a good time to get everything ready.

We are hunting in a field that we have never hunted before but there have been geese in there this week. We will see what Saturday morning brings. Not counting any geese until they hit the field and bounce.

Got bad news this morning. We are having to switch to another field that has 6" of growth already. Damn! Still is a great goose area but not the field we wanted. Still better than laying in bed. We will see how it goes.

I got out this afternoon and shot my gun and boughts stamps. I am almost ready. Hopefully it doesn't rain. I know the skeeters will be bad laying out in the field.

Prior Lake is full of them. Too bad you can't come collect some. Or can you?? I heard some shots this morning.
