Was up at the cabin this weekend enjoying the amazing weather. Got into a lot of panfish on a secondary weed flat that leveled off into around 16 feet of water. Jesse Williams even stopped out to get in on the action for a little bit. Bobbers weren't working too well right off the bat, so we were casting and popping the jigs back in and that was the ticket for all of our fish. lots of crappies and a few nice bonus sunfish thrown in the mix. Even had a couple of decent bass decide they waned to dance. Our best bait was the Watsit Grub in either Orange or White/Pink paired with a 1/32 oz jig, though Jesse did get some nice crappies on the hot pink/white Dancin tube. Sunday we tried trolling for big northerns for a bit but couldnt get anything over aboot 5lbs even with the big musky baits, so we gave up and went right back after the pannies who were more than willing to cooperate.
