    Mille Lacs Hotel...

We are heading up fishing next week for an quick overnight trip and would like to know where is a good place to stay on the lake. We don't have a specific preference about where on the lake, just a good all around facility. Thanks!

Thanks but we are just looking for a hotel. It looks like only two of us are making the trip this time.

Isn't there a super8 on the west side of the lake near subway? Maybe it is an econolodge. Dan and I have stayed at the Deerwood hotel a couple times for tournaments. Nothing special and not to far from Mille Lacs. You can park your boat right in front of your door.

The Warf also has a good breakfast and a decent bloody mary!

We ended up staying at McQuoids. Pretty good place to stay and for an extra $15 we had a nicely protected boat slip for the night. Not a lot to report since the motor oil light came on and there was plenty of oil. Decided not to chance it... Good thing for warranty!
