Looks good Dan. I'm anxious to see the photos when you have time to upload those. We'll see if you know everyone's name.

Thanks much, gotta be a lot of work doing all this.
Just curious, on the bottom of the last posted one it says only Bass, Northern, walleye and musky counted.
I'm assuming the Musky was in error?????

Ya, maybe...our fishing styles have taken a bit to work out, but we're getting better.
All about having fun though too.
I'd doubt Bald will produce a legal musky, but Tonka....ya never know.

Out on Bald throwing yesterday morning and saw that big girl again.... didn't move her but she'll be eating soon. 5 others to the boat and stuck 3 pike (one was nearing 32 inches) and 1 nice large mouth on musky top water gear.
The lake is clearer this year than I ever remember it being.Pro Staff - Dream Catcher Lures www.dreamcatcherlures.com

Well, if we can split the trolling motor, I take it 1/2 day and you take it 1/2 day where each of us fish our styles, I think we can do ok. I have enough lures and techniques to adapt to your style. I think its a little harder for you to adapt to my style though, since you don't really have anything thats weedless

Ok, in the moring we'll fish 45 fow, then when the sun comes up and it gets real hot out we'll fish 1 foot.....uh huh...

We'll figure it out..
I see a Cabela's run coming up, I suppose I should buy some lures for the new bass/carp rod...

I think the chances of a legal muskie aren't real good anywhere, but Bald Eagle is probably as good as any... I know there are some over 48, catching one while still catching and fishing your other species is going to take some serious luck but who knows... Tonka could put one out as well, you never know..
Looking forward to Bald Eagle, haven't fished that lake in probably 15 yrs. It sounds like my kind of lake though... I hope that clear water that smash is talking about goes away by July. I like it green and dirty!

Bald Eagle is usually pretty green and dirty. Usually by now, its like Pea Soup out there.
I'm sure it has alot to do with the later warm weather etc.
Maybe I'll go there tomorrow morning to see if I can get a muskie. My Home | My Photo Album

Fishing continues to be excellent! All parts of the lake ice free as of earlier this week. Trophy walleyes still being produced from both the Rainy River and the lake. 5-12 feet over sand and rubble...
