bulls in the bull rushes
Chased the panfish around a Grand Rapids area today. I could see them surfacing... Sure made it easy to stay on them. Just look and listen to that distint poppin sound. Not sure what they were after but I know it wasn't minnows. Maybe shrimp? Lots of very nice gills with some up to 10.5" and a few nice pies. Hair jigs, paddy tails and tubes took most of the fish. Need to pick up a fly rod. Sure would've been fun using poppers of some sort.

Nice work Nate. Those are some great gills and crappies
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Da-uh? Space out?
Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

Looks like you got into some tanks Nate. Probably a good little fight on those to boot. Nice.

I made a quick 1 day trip down to Fillmore County to do a little fly fishing. Due to all the rain we've been having most of the streams were high and muddy so I spent half of the day driving around...
