Panfish fun
Got the kids out today fishing on an Annandale lake for some crappies and sunfish. I was there yesterday with my dad and fished a few hours and kept enough for a meal but action was just constant. Water temp was 58 degrees in 2.5' of water. Just using ice fishing jigs tipped with a waxie under a float. I never fished today. Just baited and took fish off. Biggest sunfish was 9" and biggest crappie was 12". We kept 6 crappies and tossed back all the sunfish. We fished until it the kids got hungry and I made the big mistake of not bringing snacks with kids in the boat.

Nice job Mike , good pics. Fresh fish sounds great right now.
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Da-uh? Space out?
Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

Great pics Mike! I have met your son at school! It's so important to take the kids fishing, you're a true sportsman!
