Strikemaster Suit
After hearing about how good the Strikemaster suits were and looking at how poor of shape my old ice gear was I decided to purchase some. They came the other day and I want to thank everyone for their advice on information and sizes. I ended up buying the XL size parka and the L size bibs which turned out to be a perfect fit. Like others when they bought them I was surprised on how many pockets and storage spaces it had. They are everywhere! The padded knees are going to be a nice bonus over the old stuff and just putting it on you can tell it is quality stuff. Now I need to get out on the ice with it! Again thanks for the help guys!

I don't think I have been on the ice with out mine on, since I bought them 3 years ago. My wife even wears hers in the deer stand. I am still looking for the perfect gloves though!.
I was wondering why the frisbee kept getting bigger. Then all of a sudden it hit me

The perfect gloves are hard to find! Seems like no matter what either I am too cold or too damp. I do like the $10 Strikemaster choppers, insulated and were plenty warm last night. I just suited up last night for the first time this season in my Strikemaster suit. Was really nice to sit on the ice with my flip over flipped open, nice and cozy, just enjoying the sunset catching crappies.

I made a quick 1 day trip down to Fillmore County to do a little fly fishing. Due to all the rain we've been having most of the streams were high and muddy so I spent half of the day driving around...
