Good last time out?
Well I think this was it.... Puzzzler and I ran out to throw for some toothy critters yesterday afternoon in anticipation of it being our last time out for the year. (potentially
)
It took us a bit to find the bait size, action and color that the fish wanted but once we did it was pretty good action.
When it was all said and done we ended up with 9 fish to the boat, lost 2 very nice fish that shook us boatside
and landed 4.
We should have had a six fish afternoon but we will settle with the 4.... Not a bad afternoon of action and a good way to end it... if this is it
Here are the pics of puzzzlers 3 and my one. 44 was the biggest.
1st fish

2nd fish

3rd fish

4th fish

Don't feel bad he's so short sometimes I forget about him even when we're together

If it is your last trip of the season, what a great way to end it! Great job

Thanks guys... We really appreciate the compliments as it has taken years to figure these critters out and at that we are still learning something every time we hit the water.
Al, sorry about Tonka. Weather and company wise it was a great day. 1 pike caught and only seeing 1 nice ski is not the norm out there. (however Tonka did not treat us the greatest this year) You did a great job throwing for 8 hours and that's the way it can go sometimes.... Good times though bud.
Brent, we will hit the water next year. And thanks Mike... that means a lot as stuff like that is really motivating.

Catching up after a busy winter (for work, not play)....looking at these pics gets me ready for summer...Great, now I'll start buying more baits i probably don't need...just to feed the Musky addiction....and keep is suppressed for a few more months...
