I went last year but didn't see many modified portables, I was there early though. I hope more bring in their portables, I'd like to see what everyone has done. I have done a few to mine this summer and am contemplating bringing mine along, not as fancy as others I've seen however!

Pipes, I think there will be a lot more modified portables this year now that Thorne Bros is giving away prizes for those who bring portables.

Why would I bring some duct tape job to display in front of the public? LOL's j/k.

I did do an electrical tape job...nothing to boast about as a mod.

I think I'll attend this year. The kids are old enough to walk on their own two feet now.

I tried to get my brother in law to come with me but he is out of town. I think I'm gonna head up there anyway. I've wanted to do something unique with mine but I have to keep it light enough to pull out there, I don't have a wheeler or sled. Hopefully I'll see something neat, and take pics if I get a chance.

WELL...YEA , ABOUT 2 P.M. AFTERNOON ... I DID STOP BY THERE LOTS OF CLAMS SET UP
MAYBE EVERY ONE THEY MAKE !
ONLY DEALERS I SAW WAS JIFFY, CLAM, AND LINDY'S
THOSE WHO BOUGHT THEIR OWN SET-UPS ARE THE WINNERS I GUESS
AS THERE WERE ONLY 2 POP-UPS AND 1 DROP TRAILERS WHO ENTERED FOR THE PRIZES....
MORE OF A FLOP..I WOULD SAY
BUT I DID BUY SOMETHING IN THE STORE FOR HARD WATER FISHING THOU.

I thought the same thing. I should have brought mine, it was just as much as modified as the two there were there, and they belonged to the pros! I sure would have liked that custom rod they were giving away to the winners! Clam did have several portables set up, like you said probably every single one they offer. I did see something that was cool, made by Marcum/Showdown, called The Troller. I was again let down this year...maybe next year I'll bring mine and hang out for the day, get a chance to talk to alot of people.
