What a year for plots and anything else in the ground!!!

Simply perfect year to try and grow anything in fact.

We started the year by planting 1300 pine trees. The day we planted it rained, and we havent had a dry spell at all. They are already growing nicely too!

Food plots are just going nuts.
My clover I have had to mow 3 times already, and going for a 4th cutting this weekend. I could wait, but I am gonna do it anyway.

My beans this year are simply outstanding!!! First time I have had dedicated bean plots. Typically I have mixed corn and beans in the same field. With these results, I cant wait to see what the deer think as we move through fall. I have about 3 acres of beans.

And they are definitely chowing on the beans around the perimeter in a big way.

Corn is amazing overall. I have a small 1/2 acre plot thats 11-12 ft tall.
Most I can reach and touch the tassle barely, but looking awesome!

This is a plot I make to create a runway of sorts for deer crossing the highway. Last year they used it BIG time.

I didnt get any good pics of this plot, but its doing awesome as well. Its around 2.5 acres total, but goes the entire length of the slough in the background. Another great runway for deer.

Looks great BLB.Hope all the hard work pays off.
Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.

    Da-uh? Space out?

Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work

It used to be prime for duck hunting years ago.

I have around 15 woodduck houses on the slough and used to get 3/4's of them occupied at a minimum most years. Now I am lucky if one or two gets populated.
    Crazy.
We used to get a ton of divers all fall in there too. They dont make much of an appearance any more.
