O'dowd Landing
As of today Matt went by and the landing is under construction. Not sure if it will be done by the Aug.14 event.

I spoke with a DNR guy sitting at the Thole Lk. landing (across street from O'Dowd). He said they should have it open again by August 16th...
Still suks to have the ONLY landing on the lake closed for a whole month during the middle of the summer. All those biggins just sitting there, not getting hooked... Could have done it in April or November or something...

I think we are trying to keep this one near the South metro metro somewhere since this was suppose to be the South event. We may have to go more that direction, but not as far as Pleasant. We haven't made a call yet, but we'll post it shortly when we do.

I drove by the O Dowd landing last night and they were striping the new tar. It is not any bigger still only has 12 parking spots . Hopefully it will be open by Saturday. I cant wait to get out there. The guy who was painting said that today was the deadline to be completed.
