    Looks like I could still take 2 early season and 5 during.
    I was wondering why the frisbee kept getting bigger. Then all of a sudden it hit me

    179 for rifle, but 227 for bow. I emailed the DNR and they said I can take up to 7, but no more than 2 can come from 179.

    Our zone got changed and now have to apply for anterless permits. How it go's from a couple years of letting us shoot 5 to now have to apply? Looks to be lots of deer around anyways this year.

    I am guessing politic. It just so happens a new mine is going in Nashwauk and all of the land adjacent to it is management while all of the land outside of it is lottery.

    3 years ago we could shoot 5 deer. The following year my Son and I go to buy our license and they tell us we were in the lottery....so only youth tags for us that year as we were too late to apply. Last year we had lottery and now again this year it is lottery.

    I am fine with the lottery as long as I know what is going on. Plus, I saw more deer last year than I have in a long time

    The DNR should drive west on 94 in the fall. You need a snow plow for all the deer hit by cars
