    Trout Opener Friday

    Inland lake trout opener is friday.... anyone going??

    I was wondering why the frisbee kept getting bigger. Then all of a sudden it hit me

    Where is everyone heading? I might go to Cenenko today. Id love to hit Grindstone. A have a buddy who is going to Caribou. Should be good fishing and great weather!

    You mean Courthouse Lake? I think its gets pounded pretty hard, I do know that they do stock it just about yearly with trout.

    Today was a bust. Including us, there were 9 other people where we were, one trout was caught by some old timer sitting on a bucket, otherwise no one else even saw a trout come through their hole. I dropped the camera down for a while and never saw a thing either. We ended up landing a rock bass and I had a smelt get off at the hole. The End.

    no one was driving. I drilled 4 holes, all fitting in my house, 3 had 11" of ice, one had only 8".

    You guys did a lot better last year when it was -40.... Maybe thats what those trout need to turn the feed bag on

    yeah, you get funny looks when you tell the person you are fishing with, that it was 55 degrees colder, last year when you were out.
