We tried Big Creek this evening after we got back from our final Christmas party. We didn't get on the ice until around 4:30 and it took awhile to get on the brushpile I wanted to fish. We set up in 25' and did some hole hopping with out much luck. The girlfriend landed the only 'gill of the evening but we had a couple other misses and a few lookers that never committed. I would liked to have been there earlier as it got dark shortly after we started but it was still good to get out.
Quite a few others out trying their luck as well and I did see a few medium sized carppies and white bass on the ice. Travel is really easy on Big Creek right now. There's hardly any snow on the ice so walking out is easy and plenty of ice for ATVs too.

She's getting pretty good at working fish on the flasher and watching the spring bobber. She doesn't like to sit and just watch a bobber anymore so I may need to get another Marcum
