what a crappie time!
A pile of friends and I have been able to hit a small lake in the northern metro and have been doing pretty decent on the crappies. here are some pics:

Nice fish! I got out for a little bit today to enjoy the sun. I need to look a little more around Woodbury to find a few spots.
Preserve wildlife... pickle a squirrel!

Pigsticka, I would say give powers lake a try...I used to fish it a lot when i lived in woodbury and had some great success on a lot of fish out there!

Looks like ya had fun, great to catch fish close to the metro, thanks for posting.
Guy at work just pulled a 35" musky out of harriet last week, while not a monster, it was his first musky and biggest fish he'd caught.
Al...don't suppose ya want to mention which metro lake it was? hehe
