Minnesota Muskie Expo.
Hey All,
The Minnesota Muskie Expo starts next week and runs for 3 days. March 7,8 and 9 are the dates and it's held at the National sports center in Blaine. This is one of the best Muskie shows in the country and it always draws good crowds.
I'll be in my booth all weekend with special show discounts on Guide trips, Ace Muskie leaders, my "New" magnum tinse tail bucktails, M&G spinnerbaits in many styles and colors, Spinnerbait packs from Bailey pac tackle storage systems and I'll also have a good selection of Believers. All at special discount prices.
All the biggest names in Muskie tackle will be at the show. There are free seminars every day by the biggest names in Muskie fishing. You'll find eveything there is to see in the Muskie world, new baits, guides, boats and a whole lot more. There is even a kids middway with games and prizes for the kids. The fun starts at 2pm on Friday and it runs until 4pm on Sunday.
Stop by and say Hello, even if you don't want to spend any money.

They have stuff going on all day long. I think the minnow races run once an hour and there are lots of other things going on. My grandkids come every year and always have a great time.

Hey Muskiehead,
This is one of the best Muskie shows in the country and if you haven't been here before it's a must do.
Everything is in one large room so you don't have to walk all over to see it all. Every major and many basement bait companies, will be there showing all their new stuff for 08'. Everything is geared towards the Muskie fisherman so you don't have to waste time trying to find what you're looking for.
All the seminars are free and they are in the same area as the rest of the show. It only cost about $10 for the day, and it's well worth the price of admission. You can find some great deals on all kinds of stuff, baits, boats, guide trips, rods and resorts and all kinds of tackle. Stop by and say hello if you make it to the show, and that goes for all of you guys. I'll be giving away some baits and I have some great deals on alot of great stuff.
Hope to see you at the show!!

I'd really like to hear Rob Kimm, but I already have previous commitment.

The show was pretty good this year... the craftsmanship on the lures is getting out of hand! I'm starting to wonder if the lure makers actually test their designs or just grab a hunk of wood and paint it up like the "mona lisa" and put it up for sale??
Reed's had some nice deals on rod-reel combos... too bad they don't have a location closer to the twin cities!
I bought a raffle ticket from the girl next to the ticket counter and I swear she never drew for any prizes the whole time I was there on Friday.... 6, 7 and 8 o'clock all came and went and no sign of a drawing... did anyone see her give away anything.. or was it just a sham??
It's an interesting Triton boat that Muskies Inc. is raffling this year.... kind of a cross-over duck hunting & fishing boat.

Bowfishermen, check out this link about a carp tournament on Prior, Spring, and Fish Lakes in Scott County on Sunday June 2nd. I like the part about them disposing of the fish for us. That's the...
