    Early weekend report

    Got off work early this morning and headed for Rock Creek for a day on the ice. It turned out to be an enjoyable day with over 100 crappie and gills caught between four of us. I had thirty on the ice in a little over an hour!
    What a blast!
    We had 6-1/2"-7" of ice in the morning and by late afternoon we had 1/4" of water on top of the it. With the cold forecast for the weekend everything should freeze back and than some!
