West Fork
I went out for a little catfishing Sunday afternoon and picked up one small cat and had a few other runs that just wouldn't commit. Fished in the Humboldt area and tried only a few of the deeper holes. I also tried throwing some crankbaits for walleyes without any luck. Surface temps were in the mid 60s so a little more cool weather won't hurt anything. Its time for Summer to go away and at least give us some cooler nights!!
The river in that area also seems to have settled down quite well after the rains that hit in mid-August. Fall is shaping up pretty well if it will just get here

I'd hardly been out since the river went nuts earlier.
I don't know if I've ever caught an 'eye around that part of Humboldt but I had to try. With all the rock it seems like it should have a few!! The wind on Sunday was doing great things for the leaves Ron
