Any luck out there these last few weeks? I've let go many deer over the last couple weeks. I"m going to take what ever now. Need to put meat in the freezer.:51: Also this is our last year of hunting this property after 22 years.:cry:

So who's heading out this weekend? Things are starting to heat up. The scrapes and rubs are starting to show. Deer running in front of my truck in the mornings. I really want to punch my MN tag this weekend so I can head back to WI .:D

Is it just my imagination or the pre-rut hasn't started yet? There are literally no signs of pre-rut or the rut at all where I hunt. I hunt archery in Hugo and there are no rubs, no signs of deer movements or anything. This warm weather might have slowed the pre-rut/rut.. Correct me if I'm wrong?

We just got back from a great week in Canada goose hunting. My Dad, 75 years old and leader of the pack, my son, me, my BIL and his son. Took off from the cabin in Fergus at 6am Sunday. Not many birds around except about 40 miles east of Devils lake in North Dakota all the way to Devils lake. ...

Here are a couple from a new set Uncle Smash and I hung this year. Have not been able to put a stand here till this year. Finally a tree big enough to hang a stand. I will add a few more from a different stand tomorrow.

Talked to our land owners in NE and this Blue Tongue is taking deer out all over the place. More every day. One found around 100 dead on their property. This one was from this week. 161 inch buck. :cry:
